02+ head gaskets thicker? I saw somewhere that 02+ headgaskets are thicker than older graphite gaskets? Is this true?
My stock gaskets and the stock replacments I bought look the same...they are stiff...thick...im not sure what they are made of...

I think the gaskets you are talking about are .060" compressed height. They are MLS or Multi layer steel. The older graphite gasket should have a compressed height of .054".
