When I finsh my cam install I am going to have it tuned by a local speed shop, but how will it idle and drive while it is on a stock tune. I drive a 99 camaro m6 and the cam that is going in is TSP 228R. Is there anything I can do before I take it to the shop to help the drivablity.

Thanks

It more than likely will die on you when you first start her up and before you get it tuned. I'm assuming this is on a 112 lsa. You'll be fine though, just be sure to properly break in those springs. It will be nice and lopey before the tune, but some of it will go away after you tune your car. You can open the throttle a little bit more so your car will have better driving manners before you tune it. That's the cam I wanted, post up your impressions of the cam.

how big of a cam is it? I recently installed an X1 cam (230/227) and it ran just fine to get to the shop for tuning. If it has issues keeping an idle, go ahead and drill that hole on the t-body blade out to 5/32" and it should help alot.
