Default Pro Magnum rocker adjustment question

First off these are going a stock headed 02' Z06.

I am installing them for a friend. They came with longer than stock pushrods.

What is the correct method for adjusting these?

I have a good idea, but want to know if there are any tips, things to look out for.

Are there any valve cover clearance issues?

Any other issues?

CC says they should clear the covers. Everyone I have spoken with has said they had to either get spacers or they had to grind the covers - they said it was a painful trail and error task or grind, test fit, grind.....

Valve lash will be determined by lifter preload requirements. Search this section for tons of threads on setting lash/preload.

I installed them with no cover clearance problems at all. I you are using stock lifters you add about 1/4 turn once the pushrod resists rotation. When using R lifters no extra preload is required.
