Default head choice for my ms3 build

I'm sure this ones ben floated before but my car is a little different. Got a 67 camaro swap with 99 ls1/m6 and 3.73 rear gears. I've aquired a ms3 and ls6 intake. Currently has same ol 853's on it. Been looking at prc's and ai both. what do ya think?
thanx

consider the PRC 2.5 5.3 head.you get a bump in compression with good springs.if you go with TSP tell them what cam you have.get push rods and trunnion bearing also.consider some kaltech rod bolts and a ls2 timing chain.

I can aford a little bit more than just 243, but not ready for trick flow with the added expense. Just looking to see some proven combos

You may want to look at the Trick Flow 220s as cast - they flow almost as well as the Trick Flow 215s for roughly $700 less and can be reworked later for even more flow.

look in the dyno section for combo numbers.243/799 with a good valve job and springs can make close to 450 rwhp with a well though out combo.consider a fast 90/92 combo with a cam from Pred-Z or Pat-G.you will need a good tuner.

I'd say for a very tight budget the stock 243/799 as stated above. But for a little more money, the PRC Stage 2.5 5.3L heads will work very well with that camshaft and be setup to clear so you do not have to flycut your pistons!

TFS as cast with a matching cam if you can swing a few extra bucks. Get Brian to work them if you want a little more....

Doesnt the tfs heads require different rockers too?
