Default G5x3 For everyday driver?

Would this cam be suitable for a everyday driver?

Yes(for me) i all depends on whats comfortable for u. Suprisingly tame on the street, but come alive at the track. tires+traction= 11s! the g5x2 is very nice also! not as big but great. the advance on those cams help out alot on that g5x3. get it on a 114 if u daily drive the most, if u dont have a good tuner where u are go a tad smaller, or think custom grind! DONT BE AFRAID TO PAY A LITTLE MORE FOR A GREAT CAM! i loved the g5x3,

My car has the g5x3 and it does have some high rpm power!! I am just getting use to it but i was just curious what people had to say about the size. I have kdw's on the car i wonder what kind of times this thing would make with a good pass!! low 11's ??

All depends on how good your tuner is at driveability tuning. If they are a pro, you can daily drive it. If not, you will hate it.

The thing is i bought the car from out of State and i have no idea who tuned it i do know it was hp tuned with a wideband but how on point it is i have no idea. Its hard to tell being though ive never driven a car with this cam. Is the car going to run rich no matter what?

I just had an X3 put in my Z06 and I would think it's a borderline DD cam. You could do it if your dedicated. You trade a little irritation for a cam that really rips up top.

I had the x1,x2,x3 and x4 cams in the same motor. The x3 was the best of them all and it drove pretty nice for being a performer. I ran 11.1 with this cam n/a. The x4 cam only gained me 5hp more on the dyno and did not go faster at all. but with this cam i had one of the best set of heads on the market in AFR.
