Default 3500 to spend. what should i get?

So here's the deal. I might end up having to buy tools for my job but if I don't id like to know what I should do. So I got a 2000 Camaro SS M6. All I have done so far is a slp catback. What should I buy next? Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks

I'd look for a used procharger in the for sale section

That's a good idea. I should have another grand on top of that though by the end of the month. If I was to buy a procharger. How long do u think my bottom end would last?

Lid, FTRA, Long Tube headers, tune, drag radials, maybe some suspension. Than after all that you will be ready for a cam swap. Good luck

If you go to the track often, I would highly recommend starting with a 9in or 12 bolt. The last thing I did to my car was the 9in and i regret it. I went through 3 rearends before I broke down and bought one. If your car doesn't see the track then I would go head/cam or cam and bottle. You won't hook enough on the street to break the 10 bolt..at least I never did. If you chose the rear first you can throw some subframes in and maybe a few other suspension parts.

Ok Il look in to that. But it don't see the track to often yet but I am planing on going more often. I have to drive about an hour and a half to get to it so its hard to make it sometimes. If I was to go head/cam what should I get? Iv heard good things about afr, trick flows, and et. My goal for the car is 450-500rwhp in the end after everything is done

500rwhp is hard to achieve with just heads/cam. AFR and Trickflow are very expensive heads. When I did mine I looked on here for a set of used ls6 heads. I spent around 500$ on those, then another $400 to have a valve job and porting done. If i remember right they flowed around 308cfm at .650. You should most defiantly hit 450 with heads and cam. I put down 420 cam-only. As far as a cam...it really depends on what you want out of the car. You can get a mild cam that will give you good gains without sacrificing driveability...or you can put a huge cam in that will be a little more of a pain to drive but give better numbers.

I'm not expecting to get 500 out of heads cam only I ment after everything such as intake headers and all that other stuff. Are afr's and trickflows worth it though? I know their expensive but I'd rather do things right the first time. And I think a big cam. I live like 1 hour from tunedbyfrost so I'm sure they could make it work with a big *** cam and still have decent driveability.

IMO, SLP lid, LS6 intake, ARH 1-7/8" LT headers & Y-pipe, Hurst billet plus shifter, then a 9" or 12 bolt rear. Then start saving up for a new clutch.

I was also thinking about rebuilding my engine and turning it into a 383. It has 140000 so it would probably be best.

I would reccomend getting heads, a cam, ls6 intake, headers. Call the guys at Thunder Racing they will be more than happy to talk with you. I've only had good experiences with them and never heard anything negative.

I think your on the best track with rebuilding the motor into a 383 stroker. After you add heads/cam to that setup will get much more tq then you ever could have out of the 346.
