There are more than one way to skin a cat so to speak....with a solid lifer motor I always brought it to TDC and followed the firing order and adjusted each cylinder that way...none of this is a new discovery..

Exactly my point, this works for hyd or solid lifters just as well as any other method. I personally prefer this method, it's easier and more dummy proof.
