Jantzer Performance head specs/feedback??
New #241 castings
New LS6 valves
New Rev 1116 springs 135lb@1.800"
New titanium retainers
GM seals and locks
Only flow numbers I have are from an email:
"wow! these came out better than I hoped - got
270cfm at .450",
285cfm at .500" and peaked at
296cfm at .580" lift!"
My questions are:
what cc/compression/year are #241 castings?(stock 5.7 going onto)
What size/material are LS6 valves?
Does this pair of heads seem like a good street head with a TR224/112 .563" cam? Stock LS6 intake with Jethot long tubes?

241 heads are 2002 LS1 heads, and are generally accepted to be the best (stock) flowing 5.7 head to date....
I think those are good, "real world" numners, and should be a good match for that cam. I know he ran 10s with a set of his own ported heads, so he evidentaly knows what he is doing....
Good luck, Shawn

I'm getting a ported TB from him.
but got no reply.
Anyway - these are ready to use and I don't have to wait. That's worth alot. Also I was concerned about getting the exhaust side up to par with the intake, but with the credentials you mention sounds safe these heads are ported decent.
The numbers are equal to most sponsors advertised "Stage II" heads that run $1800 - and I'm looking at about $800 less than that, no core, no wait. I'm thinking they are a good deal.
thanks again
