If you have the lightweight LS6 valves and want to preserve the advantage that they provide you will want a good beehive spring -e.g. PAC 1518

On the other hand, if you do not have the lightweight LS6 valves; or want the added insurance that a dual spring provides you will want a good dual.-e.g. Comp 921s.

You could probably "get away" with a beehive Comp 918 or PAC. A buddy of mine is doing that with a similar but slightly smaller cam.

But.... I would personally run a dual like patriot gold or PRC's. You could also get the higher dollar Comp 921 or 926 springs, but might be a lil overkill.

Im running lunati golds due to the advice of others and love them. Theyre a dual spring, good to .660 lift with a rate 20#s higher than 918s. $220 shipped from atlantic speed

I've had good luck with sets of Patriot Gold and Gold Extremes.

Go with the PRC .650 dual spring kit. The PRC kit has the best components money can buy, with no loss in quality. No need to waste the extra money on the comp stuff.

But realize that if you overspring (have more pressure than you really need) you will waste horsepower, be tougher on your lifters, rockers, pushrods, etc. In other words, contact your cam grinder and use their recommended springs. Period.

They proved that was a myth with back to back dynos with the pac singlse and the prc dual springs they dynoed and with the doubles they made more power. I think they said it was because the duals controlled the valves better at high rpm

PSI 1511 beehive springs. Built with a much better manufacturing process than Comp or even PAC springs, and their quality control is second to NONE. They check EVERY spring before they're boxed and shipped.

They'll handle anything .620 lift or below.
