Default New cam?

Just found out I'm gonna have to replace my water pump n just figured while everything is apart I should put a cam it. So far I have a ls6 intake n full exhaust and a 12 bolt with 4:11s. I want kind of a agressive cam that I can still drive on the street with no problem. I will also be porting n polishing my stock heads... What would be a good cam for my setup?

DO NOT port your Ls1 heads. The machine work will cost near $500 dollars, and you could acquire some stock 243's for close to that. With some 243's, I would go with a good cam to go with those gears. I think an MS3 ranged cam would go great with your setup medium/aggressive size.

get the heads ported by a reputable shop and theyll flow more then the 243s and have them milled down to 59cc or so to bumo up the compression ratio
