Question lifter disassembly

i'm re-building my engine, and found lifters were too dirty, so i cleaned the outside part of them, i'm thinking about disassembly them to check inside of them, what do you think? is this bad?

Nope you can remove the wire lock and take them apart just keep the parts in order and pay attention to how they come apart

Also doing that You have the advantage of putting new clean oil in them while assembling them ,,,,,,,,,no worries about that part then .

Make sure all the parts from one lifter stay together, don't mix them up.
