Default Patriot predator heads

Just spoke with someone over at patriot about the predator heads. He stated they were ready and flow numbers were 320@.600 310@ 550 and 29x@.500 ive been looking at a budget head to replace my tea stage 3 317's and I was curious if I would gain/lose hp. this is with a 2.08&1.60 exhaust.

I would like to see some independent flow numbers to back up their claim.

I posted in your other thread about AFR heads, but if I were you, I'd spend the money on either AFR or Trick Flow. If you're not in a hurry, comb the classified section. Before I traded them for wheels, I got a set of AFR 205 heads for $1,500 which included shipping and paypal fees. The guy who has them now is making right at 450 rwhp with a 230/236 cam. You simply can't go wrong with AFR or Trick Flow. They've been proven time and time again.

Are these a new dedicated casting...if so I'd be sceptical as to where they
were made/machined. They seem like decent flow #s but runner size and
quality/dependability are also very important. Seems like AFR is without
question the BEST 15 degree head and I'd love to see a back to back comp-
arison to TF 13 degree and MAST 11 degree to see IF and how much the
valve angle helps power

i'm with RISE OF THE PHOENIX. I had budget heads in the past and went to AFR heads. the gain was crazy 40hp and at the track i was killing guys with patroit and other budget heads. I also had cnc ported l92 heads on my 402ci. I switched to TRICKFLOW 235 that had lower flow numbers next to the l92 head. I gained 20hp and 15tq with trickflow. You get what you payfor in a better quality product.

Bringing this thread back.... did you ever decide on what heads you were going with? I just grabbed a pair of the Predator heads from Patriot and am curious to see if anyone else has had any experience with them on this forum. From what I understand, the heads were hyped up a few years back, but Patriot had some issues with getting them launched and people got frustrated and went with other options. Being my optimistic self (or naive :), I decided to give them a shot... now I just need to make the time to bolt them up and put them to the test.
