overheating after cam/thermo/pulley install..
I just finished installing a new cam, doubleroller chain, 160 thermostat, and crank pulley.. i started it up and everything seemed fine...
I started adding coolant and noticed that there didnt seem to be any flow from that tube near the cap.. but the level kep dropping so I kept adding...
I the started bubbling up and overflowing...
I checked the guages..
the temp started climbing like crazy... I have an aftermarket temp guage that made it to and sat on 220... the stock guage was pegged out..
I checked around and noticed that i had damaged the stock water temp sensor..
Could it possibly be just that sensor? I'm pretty damn sure that I hooked up all the tubes correctly to the waterpump..
