will i get piston slap? im going to be putting in a dome style piston in my ls1 and put on a set of 243 heads with a .71 head felpro gasket. if i need to post any other mods please let me know.

The term "piston slap" has to do with piston skirt height and piston to cylinder clearance; and the "slapping" of the piston's skit on the cylinder wall which makes the audible noise. Not sure what the OP is after here.

I think OP should step away from "old school" practices and research more on LS platforms.
Why? Because unless this is a very specific application, we do not practice "dome pistons" for street and thick gaskets. They surely contradict each other and are more prone to detonation.
