99' 5.3 With clearance issues at crank

Hey guys lookin for some info on a 5.3 im lookin to buy. Engine is a 99' and i know the early 6.0's had clearance issues when using a manual trans, my question is does the 5.3's have the same issues? Thanks in advance!

The only clearance issues I'm aware of is with using older turbo 350's and 400's and the early 700r4's with the LS1's and the truck gen 3 and gen 4 ,,,,,,I would imagine the manual trannies from those years would also need flexplate/flywheel spacer and longer bolts . Go over to conversions and hybrids in LS1 Tech and search .
