Check out my cam bearings (PICS)
I've been fighting a low oil pressure issue EXACTLY like this guy has outlined in this thread:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...c-pursuit.html
I was able to pull my camshaft out today and use my video scope to snap some pictures of each bearing. They are not GREAT quality, but you can see how they sit in the cam bore.
I mainly took the pictures to see if any of the bearings were walking forward or backwards as opposed to the bearing surfaces.
I'd like to know what you experienced guys think about these pictures.
I'll also add that the cam had no problems coming out and all the bearing holes seem to still be lines up with the oil holes in the block.
Starting from the front and working back...
1)
The first picture that was taken with my real camera shows some markings, but I can't feel any scratches our anything with my finger.

From what I can gather from these pics, your cam bearings seem to be in good condition. You would be very surprised as to how bad a cam bearing can 'look' at still be in great functional order. Really as long as the bearing is in the housing bore square and with proper press and of the proper ID that covers 90% of things.

Look forward from hearing more opinions and advice.

Yeah, I didn't see any signs of copper whatsoever. The pictures I uploaded here seem worse than what I could see on the boroscope screen, but I'm not sure why. I was mainly concerned with walking of the bearings like the guy posted in the thread I linked in my first post. I truly don't think any of them are spinning as the oil holes seem to all be lined up.
Is it normal for the front cam bearing to be flush with the front of the motor?

Another thing to consider is the condition of the cam journals where they ride on the bearings. I would think if the cam is slick, then the bearings are in good shape.
