Default LS1Tech Members VS the Pros on Cams recommendations

In another thread I asked LS1 Tech members to give cam recommendation based on my cars specifications. Then I asked some of the top pros in the industry for their recommendations. I totaled them up and averaged them out and here is a spread sheet showing how close LS1 Tech members were to the industry experts. LS1 Tech Team FTW!

Very interesting. Did you accumulate any data on lobes?

Very interesting and encouraging data. I like what I see. Who recommended the carb cam though?

The carb cam and the other cam were both recommended by Lunati as options. My car is carbureted, but the carb cam as listed as really aggressive .650" lobes that will not work with my beehive springs. However the other cam is just under .600". He suggested that I might run the 227/233 cam on 111 to get the lobes and the overlap(idle) I was looking for.
