Default Cam input..

In trying to decide between 3 cams right now, for now the engine will be "cam only" with either 241 or 243 heads untouched (until the future), LS6 intake and bolt-ons backed by a t56. Cam choices are:
MS3 (237-239 on 113) Advanced induction 234-238 on 112 or the Torquer 2
(232-234 on 112). i have found some cam only ms3 cars making between 420-430 and the torquer 2's making anywhere from 400-420 on the high side. Just want some input and if you have a ms3 how high are you spinning the motor?

Is this gonna be a track car or a street/strip warrior. I don't really no much about the AI cam but I've heard they put out some great products. I know some people with the MS3 and Torquer 2 and they couldn't be happier. I really don't think you could go wrong with any of those choices.

The AI cam is probably one of their shelf grinds, but i have read that they have asymetrical lobes and are much easier on springs even with more lift

Are you open to any other cams or just these 3 particular ones?

You'll want the intake duration in the 228-232 range for your desired rpms
01's cam would work well for ya

Feel free to give me a call at the shop. Ill be happy to go over the details of your setup and the direction your wanting to go with it. We can discuss the above mentioned cam choices and talk about doing a custom grind as well.
