What's needed to do a 5.3 swap in a 4th gen T/A?

While I S-L-O-W-L-Y building my 455, I was thinking of just picking up an EL Cheapo 5.3 so I can at least enjoy my bird. I'm sick of making VROOM-VRRRROOOOOM noises as I fake shift and racing pretend Ferraris and Porches, whilst sitting in the driver's seat in my driveway
Sooooo.... I was thinking of picking up said 5.3 and dropping it in for the time being.
Well I started looking for 4th gen 5.3 swap threads; I tried "5.3 mod," "5.3 swap," and a few other things and nothing - at least for 4th gen Fbodies. I thought this was a popular swap!?
I need to know the details of the swap. Can I use the parts off my LS1, can I use the ECU from my LS1 or do I need the ECU from the 5.3? Will the 5.3 bolt to the motor mounts? What about my A4, will it mate to the 5.3? Etcetera...Etcetera... AND Etcetera...
Or if there's a good swap thread that I somehow missed, please post it.
Thanks guys!

Nothing is needed. It will bolt right up because the blocks are basically identical. You need the older (about 07 and down) 5.3 because you need the 24 tooth wheel on the crank and you may have to drill and tap one hole for the alternator bracket. That's it, and a tune obviously. Just transfer all your car stuff over to the 5.3 longblock.

Take the 5.3 down to the longblock (heads, cam, block, rotating assembly, valvetrain) then swap all your stuff over including wiring harness, intake, TB, coil packs, exhaust, starter, accs, oil pan, etc......everything. Then get the tune adjusted for the smaller displacement.
