Angry Stuck intake valve ...really???

Well crap, i went to fire up my 00Z this evening and upon cranking it, it sputtered, wouldn't start and made a unplesant noise. I recently put in a push rod and figured maybe I didn't tighten up the rocker and it backed out. Well when I pulled the valve cover and check out the rockers, I discovered a loose one and upon further inspection discovered #3 intake valve stuck open!
I was driving it Sunday night without any problems now this, WTF? I thought maybe something was jammed in the intake port and intake valve so I pulled the intake manifold and found nothing. I tapped on the valve spring with a rubber mallet and the valve move somewhat back to close but it is stuck with what looks like a seized valve guide. Now I am irritated to say the least, I wanted to enjoy the car a little longer while I save up some $$ and build up a performance engine. Now its going to sit for awhile if I don't sell it before then, lol...
*Sigh*, now I remember why I quit working on cars for a living.

The previous owner over-revved it and bent the rod.

Sounds like a miss shift did more than bend the push rod.

Yeah but the crappy thing is that it was driving fine this past Sunday and this is the first time I started it since then.

I've seen valve stems go curved after an over rev. Not just the head bending on the valve. This can cause the valve to seize. A valve is cheap. If you do the work you should be able to fix it for $100.

Was the pushrod you replaced on the valve that's stuck open? If so how did the rocker arm feel when you tightened it down on that cylinder?

If it's just stuck and not bent there's ways to fix it without pulling the head.

No those pushrods were good and rockers felt good and tight. As a matter of fact, the car ran fine the previous time I drove it 2 days earlier. If there is a way to fix it without removing the head I'd like to hear it so I can at least drive it to the shop for some more work.
I'm already starting to save up for the engine I planned on putting in it. I figure this motor is probably on it's last leg anyway.

First off are you sure the valve is stuck and the valve spring isn't broken?

If it's just stuck take the valve spring off and put a drill on top of the valve. Spray PB blaster or some other good spray lube down the valve guide really well. Spin the drill motor slowly working the valve up and down. Keep spraying the lube down the guide. You don't want to valve or the guide to get to hot. After a while the valve should move freely up and down. Make sure you pressurize the cylinder before you take the drill off so the valve doesn't fall down. I've done this several times and have had good luck with it.
