422 dyno results within
Bum 02 sensor bank 1, that was the bank of the leaking Cometic head gasket that was just replaced but pulled it anyway.
Clairification: MRWS6 has a Thunder Racing 236 cam, I noticed in his one post he said it was a 238. And his ASP pulley is still on back order at Thunder Racing so we dynoed with the stock one with the full acc belt.
461 RWH @ 5,200RPM 486 RWT @ 4,500RPM SAE basically, again, the cam is too small looking at the RPM of the peak HP, I think a 242+ would bring that peak over to at least 6,000 RPM so there is more room to gain some more in the HP dept. SAE correction was 0.97 and the actual numbers were 476/503. What I found interesting was at 3,000 - 3,200 rpm, it's over 450 RWT! BTW, the MAF is pegged! it won't read anymore airflow passed the torque peak, it's maxed out, I am addressing that problem this week.
Thats tested through a 12 bolt Moser, 3.73 gears, now I am going to re-formulate a cam size and install the progressive 200 shot of NOS and re-tune.
Chris is going to post the dyno sheet here when he gets home.
Thanks Chris!
Joe.

I'm interested in seeing how you correct the maxed out MAF. Someone has to find a cheaper way then going with a FAST system.

Okay, We looked over the A-Tapp loggs and it looks more as if the injector constants have to be worked over a little more, but the MAF GPS was at 450 from 5,000 rpm just about to the end, should be a simple adjustment and a set of ported ends. I am going to get this problem "in check" before I change anything in the combo.

You can then over scale the injectors a bit and reduce the MAF readings a bit (gms per Hz). Don't go to wild on an A4 with this (effects load) and you may have to re-tweak the timing.
What were the wideband readings when you started getting the black smoke?
Good luck!

Should be able to go with at least 242 cam, I would think.
Keep us posted!
PS Joe, my injectors are in the box on the passenger seat...any progress yet?
