i am going to use the 5.3 crank that i have as it only needs to be polished, i am building a 5.3 engine and am going to punch it to a 5.7 spec,

will the 5.7 rods work without mods??????

i would like to get h beams if all possible but want to make sure that they would fit the journals of the crank

You can use the 5.7 rods. If you go aftermarket most rods require aftermarket pistons too.

Callies Performance

Compstar has a 6.100 rod with the std. pin, so that you could use the stock piston.
