Broken # 7 RA now #5 This was the #7 thread>>> https://ls1tech.com/forums/index.php 300 miles later # 5 breaks. I replace it and hear a tick. Thought it was in head. Pull VC again and check preload and all is good . Put it back together and figure out is the tensioner pully
The car is back up and running good. Can anybody tell from these pics if these are the upgraded YT's. They are supposed to be. TONY HELP!!!

It sounded like a valvetrain tick and the car is so loud it was hard to tell exactly where it was coming from....
Anybody know what to look for as far as the difference between the the new design YT's???

do you mean the difference between the ultralights and the regular ones?
oh well i just picked some up a couple weeks ago, so i will look at mine and see if they look different then yours
