Default LM7 with LS1 parts...

Ill be picking up an LM7 this upcoming week and putting my LS1 on another stand to build or sell later on. My LS1 is still complete with custom 28" long tubes, stock intake, injectors, rails, heads, cam, etc. I plan to pull parts from the LS for the LM7 but what would be worth it?

LM7:
Complete stock take out
Intake
Heads
manifolds
Block
Waterpump
Oil pan

Ls1
Complete top to bottom
Harness custom integrated to work with the BMW E36 chassis
Stock injectors and rail
Corvette filter/reg
Standard fuel pump
PCM was sent out for VATS remove, rear o2 remove, EGR and vent valve remove; driven with this pcm already
Stock cam from what i can see
Crank bad, 2 rods bad
New custom one wire alternator
New car waterpump
Standard P/s
Cold air intake
Standard oil pan
Bad oil pump

Transmission:
T56
Pro 5.0
stock ls1 clutch

What worth installing in the LM7, if anything beyon the oil pan, headers, and intake manifold? Will i be able to exhange the intake rails, injectors, and run the stock ls1 tune for now, until i can get it tuned for the fewer cubes? Is it worth swapping heads?

The LM purchase is to get the car back on the road for a while longer, before winter, so i dont plan to dump any kind of real money into it. The LS has been taken apart because of two spun bearings and requires a lot more money to get back to running condition, so it will be on the back burner. For now, the LS parts are already out and ready to go.

Yes the fuel rails and injectors from the LS1 will work in fact with You're wiring harness that's all You can use unless You change the inj plugs . As far as tune , You probably won't be able to notice anything off at all , but probably a good idea to at least have You're tuner check it to make sure .

cam may help, heads are a no go cause they will drop compression embarrassing low. lifters would work. i'd take everything from the LS1 intake up and put it on the 5.3. only fitment differences i can think of are a ground on the right and the alternator mount bolts. one boss isn't tapped, and another boss isnt there at all lol.

Can I ask what wiring harness you are using or how you converted it to the bow harness I'm looking into an lm7 swap in my 325 e36 and am wondering how of course to do it.
