Critique this combo?
Would like some thoughts and opinions on this setup. 91 octane doable? Piston to valve issues with milled heads? Enough converter and gear to make it work ok?
98 ls1 stock shortblock
799, hand ported (remove rocker boss, work valve bosses, smooth short side, polish chambers and exhaust, valve job) milled .020" with Patriot Gold duals (.650" lift, titanium retainers)
stock thickness Fel Pro gaskets
232/238 .612/.608 114+1 comp cam
ported Fast 90 intake, 90mm tb
stock Maf with cone K&N filter
underdrive pulley
no a/c
91 octane tune
1 3/4" longtubes
3" duals, no crossover
4l60e, Yank 3600
12 bolt, 3.42 gears
Cam peaked at 6400rpm in the car it was in previous. I'm hoping for similar results and shifting it at 6500-6600rpm.

sounds like a good combo n as far as ptv clearance are you stock valve still if so dont see ne issues with ptv i use stock thickness on mine with 2.05/1.57 valves n cams dur. is 236/242 n still have good ptv clearance keep us posted
