thanks for all the replies lol the torquer v2 is a bit extreme but sounds absolutly amazing! lol its my daily driver and also gotta get ok gas milage mainly all highway anyway so it cant be an extreme cam the 224/228 sound perfect for me its got a little chop but definetly hp gain with a dyno tune... im thinking of getting true duels dumped at axle but my car has these 3a quad racing tips that are bigger than the stock quads... plus looks good with the rear and chrome on the zr1 wheels.. slp or the other pulley either way its about 5 to 8 hp gain on a dyno right? so if that i cant go wrong on either really just whatever i want for it works. Valve springs... should i get the package deal at TSP with cam and valve springs or leave them alone? THANKS!!!

well if its a daily i dont think dumped @ rear axle is wide choice..prolly have a headache after a a few miles..as far as valve springs go, if u go big, cam then u need supporting mods , such as springs, ..keep stock rocker arms 4 now..no need for upgrades other than better lifters and maybe single springs depending on cam choice..yes the package from TSP is right on the money..IMO..btw still runnin stockers on mine..

ported ls6 intake, port the tb, stock maf i believe would be fine or use a truck maf, slp/asp/powerbond 25% underdrive pulley, and full exhaust and you'd be happy for a while imo.... and later down the road buy a cam, some form of better heads, and something thats not a 10 bolt.....

Wherever you buy your cam from will be able to tell you what springs you'll need. If you go on texas speeds website to buy the cam it'll let you choose which springs you want and it'll give the lifts that they'll handle. They're no way I'd even start it without changing the springs. How many miles are on the car? You might want to consider changing your oil pump if you've got a good amount of miles and i'd definately go to a LS2 timing chain while its apart. And I would check the emissions laws where you live and where you might move before I made any changes. Also with true duals its gonna be loud and you'll lose ground clearance. A good cat back with a set of longtubes will flow plenty for what you'll be building.

When I bought my cam, EPS sold me the extra bits I needed, pushrods, springs, timing chain, crank bolt, gasket, etc Came to $800 if I remember right.
Here if this helps, you can see the gains I got going from stock to boltons to cam.
