Checking pushrod length without installing a solid lifter?
Just wondering how exactly to determine pushrod length without having a solid lifter or removing the heads...
I've read that you can guesstimate by counting how far of a turn only takes to get 22ft/lb after zero lash but was not quite sure. I have looked and searched some but was wanting to be "sure".
Thanks guys.

There's this same question posted about ever other day, and there are quite a few threads on the subject ... here's a couple good ones.
