valvespring install help
edit to comment... I think mine tended to go straight down on the spring because of the way the back part rides on a socket and not the side edge of the head.
Comp Cams sells one that compresses two springs at once. Its the best one currently on the market IMO.
Also, when you are installing, put a dab of grease on the lock so it "sticks" to the valve when you put it there. It just makes things a little easier that way.
So did you use the base part of the Lingenfelter tool?

as far as the base I actually had one of those long tounge looking valvespring tools they sell at advance for like ten bucks, I chopped the long peice off and used the bottom like in that picture.
