Default true duals vs. borla

im getting to the point where i am fed up with not being able to hear my radio.i have pacesetter LT,s into a 3inch y into a 3inch borla catback.its too loud.great for the track, but i dont go there that often.so i am going to drop my exhaust when i do my tranny and was thinking of going with true duals. probably TSP.
do you guys think it will be any more restrictive than the borla?
will it slow me down any?
and will it be ALOT quieter?or just a little?borla is like a straight pipe. i know it will be quieter but i just dont know by how much.
are there any clearance issues?im not lowered nor plan on lowering.

If you want quiet, true duals are not the right direction. Based on what you want, I would say a SLP dual dual catback with a cutout is more in the direction you want. Then again you have a borla already why not just run the system with the plate closed?

You can find the plates for sale on E-bay or here. I use the smallest open plate, it sounds deep and aggressive with no rasp. I will occasionally open it all the way up, it sounds mean at idle, but it has way to much rasp for me to keep it that way.

I have true duals with out cats and dynomax mufflers and it is not quiet at all. Can't go much louder. So I think true duals is the wrong direction. Maybe switch your cat back to magnaflow. I don't think they are as loud as borla.

I got pacesetter LTs and true duals and it is really loud. I would go with magnaflow as stated before. And if you do change your exhaust I might be willing to buy the borla from you if we can work something out.
