They are the same casting as the ls3 heads, Just no light weight valves and different springs.

GM doesn't make a small bore head that I know of, Those are aftermarket.

Yeah I knew that part, was wondering if anyone knew minimum bore that they can go on, with standard sized valves. Maybe I didn't word it right.

GM performance has a small bore head so I also wondered if they did anything with the 4" bore LS3 style heads (L76 or whatever engines were 4" with those rectangle heads) in stock applications or if they are all standard valve sizing. Never heard it mentioned that they did anything different so I always assumed they were stock size valves (same as for 4.065 motors) but I hate assuming.

The minimum bore for LS3 heads is nominally 4". Anything smaller and valves hit cylinders.

I think he was hoping to put an 2.02 valve in there and call it good! Lol

In a cathedral head that would work, but LS3 heads have the valves further apart, rendering that idea non-workable.
