Most of the gaskets are re-usable, just take special care of them as you take apart the engine, and store them in files or cardboard folders. They clean up nicely if you take care of them. Buy new mls headgaskets through gm performance parts at your local dealer. Just bought mine this week and they were only $45. I would get the heads looked at. Have new guides put in as with using the ms4 you'll be pushing those old 155k valve guides to there limits. Valves can be replaced accordingly, or put new ones in. New rings, possibly same pistons based on damages found. These engines don't take to boring well so keep that in mind. .05-.10 is all these blocks can handle based on what year your block is. They are really quite simple to rebuild, just take your time, bag and label all bolt sets, PICTURES, and take mental note where stuff was when you pulled her apart.

PS.. Texas Speed is a great resource so don't be afraid to call up support.
