So I've been having a problem with My car destroying valve seals. Finally found what I think is the problem. When I ordered my cam kit I got the wrong spring locators .560 i needed a .505 the machine shop installed them anyway. I currently have the patriot extreme gold springs. I have an installed height of 1.750. Coil bind on those springs are 1.090 which means at .660 I'll get coil bind. My cam lift is .661
I don't trust the springs with the way they were moving around and the installed height being set-up wrong. I want to get these springs.
Precision Race Components .675" EHT Double Spring Kit
Specs:
Install Height: 1.800"
Closed Spring Pressure: 157lbs @ 1.800"
Open Spring Pressure: 471lbs @ 1.125"
Maximum Spring Lift: .675"
Coil Bind 1.060"
Spring Rate: 483lbs/in
So my question is can I install theses springs @ 1.750 That would clear me to .690 lift before coil bind so that would give me a .030 before coil bind.
I need to buy springs ASAP because I have a race to be at Saturday. So any help will be appreciated.

lets see. .675" lift springs installed at 1.750" would make coil bind with .625" camshaft?? so how to you figure you can run a .660" camshaft and those installed .050" shorter?
just how I read it.

No .675 springs will Take .690 lift before hitting coil bind if installed at 1.750. My lift is .661. If this will work i'll install them at 1.75 if not I'm going to use the .050 offset keepers to get me 1.80 installed height.
