Cam gurus, I need some advice.
So I'm trying to fine tune my setup. I decide to go with a 234/244 .598/.596 110 that I got threw one of my friends. I got a set of 243 heads for cheap so I was going to use those with my ported ls2 intake and 125 shot. The rest of my mods are in my sig.
I messaged PatG a while back about using some L92 heads and he said that it would work but I would need to use a single plan and spin the car to 7K. Also he recommend using a high flow cathedral port head with my LS2 set up.After speaking to Comp and getting the cam car the tech guy informed me that this cam was meant to work more in the top end.
I would love to use a single plan carb set up. So if did would it be more beneficial to use the L92's or the 243's?
Thanks in advance.

Buy the L92s. 1- It's a much better flowing Cylinder head and 2- you have a cam speced for a high reving motor. A better flowng cylinder head will carry out your horsepower curve further at high rpm. Edelbrock or gmpp makes a nice single plane Intake manifold for the L92s on a carbureted set up.
