i would go with the f-14 with a 114 lsa i had the same thing in my camaro with bolt ons built 4l80e 373's i went 11.50's @118 and could drive it anywhere

After more research I'm going with a TR 224 on a 114 and TSP 5.3 heads.

Like detox said, let us know how it works out....

I want to change cams as well, mine runs out of breath.
Had a TSP 231/237 as cam only and it was a good cam.
Now just want as much power & torque as possible, no more changes after this one.
