Default 468ci (7.6L) LS1 possible?

I was just having a look on ebay for LS1 parts and came across the realization (after some calculations) that in theory you can build a 468ci (7.6L) LS1

with a Stroke of 4.375 and a bore of 4.125

Just wondering if anyones heard/seen of anyone doing it?

obviously it'd have to be built correctly with sleeves and all, wonder if the engine would last? maybe iron block, what about aluminum block?

any thoughts?

would be nice tones of displacement with high HP and torque in a light engine.

Or 4.185" bore with a 4.250" stroke, that's been done before in a std deck aluminum block.

Look at ERL's web site - they offer a number of sleeved short block packages.

Yep, but it's a ERL prepped LS2 block with a deck plate to increase the deck height.

The 468 makes some power when fed properly.
