Anybody know what kinda heads I have on my stock 99 trans am ls1. And does anybody think they are worth porting and polishing.

 

You should have 853 heads on your car. Contact advanced induction about porting, you can see very nice gains with them.

And now get ready for everyone to tell you the heads arent worth porting and to get some prc heads. People here are ignorant about porting stock heads that arent 243 heads

 

I'll be the first to tell you to not waste your money. For the price you will pay to have them ported, you can pick up a set of used tsp 5.3 heads. If you look hard enough you could probably find a set of ls6 heads ported as well.

 

For the money invested to make the 853s flow anywhere near what our PRC cylinder heads do its better to go ahead and just purchase a new set from us rather than spend the money on the 853s.

 

What does a set of heads run From y'all.
