Cam question

Would a 02 ZO6/LS6 style cam give much gain with a stock 98 LS1 (f-body car). And would you have to beef up valve springs or anything to run that cam on stock LS1 heads.

my bud has the 02 zo6 cam.with no headers and only afew boltons,he gained 18 rwhp.

There has been a post about the Z06 cam giving 30+ HP over the stock LS1 cam. You will need to up grade the springs.
