Question Cam equivalent in a 370 cu in motor

What cam in a 370 cubic inch motor is similiar to a 232 112 LSA cam in a 346? In terms of similiar I am speaking of idle, driveability, and rpm range. This is in a 6 speed car. Give me your opinions.

Thanks
Joe

No one has any opinions?

I may be searching for a new cam and would like one that runs similiar to the 232 in a 346. Going by just ratios: 232 degrees/346 inches=.671 degrees per inch, so does this mean a 248 (.671 deg/in * 370 in=248) degree cam would run similiar in a 370 inch motor? I doubt it is a linear relationship....I am thinking something more in the 240 range would be what I am looking for. Someone help me....

I would go with a 238/242 split.....

I had MANY ideas of what cam to try out in my motor if I ever went N/A...

For a cam in the future for my F.I. application I plan on a 230/240 .600/.610 114lsa or a 232/238, best thing to do probably is call comp and get his opinion on it.....

Terry @ Cam Motion, and Chris @ Comp Cams both said that as a very general rule of thumb they would increase duration 6-8 degrees for every 50ci increase in engine displacement. You can email Chris at Cmays@compcams.com and see if he has the time to suggest a cam.

Okay, thanks John and Bos. I will email chris.

Do you think a standard split cam is necessary with a set of patriot LS6 heads with extra exhaust side porting? The exhaust setup is in my sig....

What about a single pattern cam in the 238 to 242 range? Opinions?
