you could even talk him down on price by telling him you dont need the computer and he can keep it, you really dont need anything but the short block and heads, and its pretty much like bolting in another ls1 engine, exept you will need a tune

you can get ~ $400 for the ecu and wireharness. People hack them for hybrid/conversions.

heck if I were in a different situation right now with the v6 camaro I just got I might even have considered buying it off you, but that car's fate is uncertain at this time.

all you need is the longblock for your Fbody.

If u get the harness, try and get the dbw pedal,wiring and electronics as well. Some people will pay for these matched parts with PCM and wiring harness and tb. So u can recoup a few bux there.
