Whats the better choice
Im looking between the Patriot stage III 2015 vs a set of untouched LS3 heads. The patriots would be ran with a ls6 manifold with a 80mm TB and the ls3 would be with a stock ls3 manifold with a 90mm tb. This is on a Lq9 engine and ive heard about how the 4" bore shrouds the ls3 valve. this will be matched with a MS4 cam with a small hit of nitrous.
What would you do?? I know that the ls3's flow numbers are lower then the patriots but the ability to have them cnc ported in the future is nice.

I would match parts properly, and definitely fly-cut my pistons. I would choose other heads entirely.

get a cam to properly match the air flow % difference between intake and exhaust.a custom cam cost $25 more over a shelf cam.ls3 heads like a different cam profile then other ls heads.
