Default Cam help

Im about to swap to m6. I want to find the best cam with stock heads that adds a good amount of power and a great chop. It's my dd so I don't want the craziest cam but one that turns heads and has the power to back up the sound if that makes since and do they sell cam packages that come with everything I need?

I would prob go in the high 220's if not low 230's on tbe cam duration, wit the m6 u will be able run a hotter cam than auto witout worry about stall speed

I would encourage you to call some of the sponsors.
IMO, Upper 220's to Low 230's would be your best bet for a DD when trying to go as large as possible.

EPS custom grind (Upper 220's to Low 230's).

FMS-F13-112: 230"/232" .595"/.585" 112LSA

Futral will also do custom grinds.

IMO this is largest I would go with in a DD.
Texas Speed 233/239 .595"/.603" w/111 or 112lsa camshaft

Or a custom grind something like a 231(.617" lsl) / 234(.612" lxl) on a 111 or 112lsa w/2*to 4* advance.

You need to take into account your rpm range in addition to lope. If you dont want to spin much past stock and want lope get a GM ASA cam. Far too many guys buy a MS3 or bigger and then bitch that they dont want to pull too high and how it has no power under 4K with their stock geared cars. Like mentioned, call a sponsor. For a DD a 22x/23x is no problem.
