Default Autozone/Fel pro gaskets good enough?

Instead of buying the gm gasket kit would the stuff autozone sells be good enough? I'll be running a Torquer 2, milled 241s, and a LS6 intake. I can get the bolts for 22, head gaskets for 20, timing cover gaskets for 35, and water pump for 8. I really don't want to pull heads twice so I figured I would ask.

you should be fine as long as you dont get the duralast brand they sell. Felpro is a proven brand and should give you no problems.

I would go with GM Intake gaskets if I were you. Weve had bad luck with any other brand than the manufacturer on intake gaskets for some reason. Other people might be having good luck though. Just my .02
