Everyone will tell you something different. this or that. I have used two sets of the budget minded sponsor heads with good results. but,i wanted the best results. I have used AFR205 heads on my ls1 and to this day for what i had some of these sponsor heads still have not out performed them. I now run trickflow on a 402ci and i gained over another co's head going to the tfs. I feel you get what you payfor when you buy a product. i believe in AFR and TFS heads as being the top heads for our set up. Will everyone agree....NO. I'm sure texas speed will tell you their head is better....so be it. Also,i'm not bashing texas heads, just using them as a sample cuz they are popular. do a good search and Make your choice, just remember everyone thinks their **** is the best. find what you think is the best.

Imo, if your on a budget send your heads to AI and get them cncd, valve job and milled to your specs and I have a ported 85mm ls6 intake and a matching ported 85mm tb that im thinking about selling to upgade to a fast so lmk if your interested but a stock ls6 with a ported tb will work fine also if your on a budget.

Not gonna say which are the best but will say buy the best you can afford...and if you plan on complimentary upgrades down the road better heads will optimize those potential gains....
