ID an LS6 cam

Is there a way to tell a 2001 LS6 cam from a 2002-2004 LS6 cam by the numbers on it?

An 02-04 ls6 cam will have the 4 ending numbers 5308. I forget what the 01 numbers are but they are different

The 2002 cam #is 12565308 and the smaller 2001 # is 12560950

Here are some pics of a 02 and up cam, the 5308 is what you are looking for, that indicates its a 02+

This doesn't help but I thought it looked cool..
