We've been taking about it, I know they are working on the Heads..more than likely tho it'll work out to where I have it back and running with everything I need.

Here's an update..

Both Heads are being replaced by TEA. They are also sending the replacement Piston, Cometic Head Gaskets, Head Bolt Kit, and replacement LS3 Intake Rocker.

Major props on them helping me out with this..hopefully these parts come in soon so I can get it back up and running.

Did these have L92 valves or the lighter LS3 valves?

I'd like to see the valve tips and seats. You were turning this around 7000 rpm right? Valve float will break a lot of parts in a hurry. Hydraulic roller cam, mild springs, high rpm and heavy *** L92 valves = unstable valve train.

All that has been sent off..unknown on the Retainers..Rockers look normal to me..smooth and shiny. Unless I'm reading them wrong.

I'll post in here when I get something in my hand..Heads are close to being done..and they will be on the way soon.

I'm not in any hurry...it'll give the local dumbshits time to prep their junk and have hope.

To answer your guy's question.. upon examination of the spring it was an impurity in the metal wire that cause the failure.

I was told this a couple days ago..was goin to give it some time to see if one of the representitives was going to post it, but then again they have bigger fish to fry compared to posting in on here.

My Heads are done, awaiting on the Cometic Gaskets to get to TEA, and all the remaining parts are being shipped out to me as one package of goodies.

The Heads just showed up...

These are my replacement Ported L92's from TEA. They sent them with the new Rocker Arm and Heads Bolts I needed..just waiting on the Head Gaskets.

Heads are both the same casting, look really sharp and everything on them is new.

Head Gaskets showed up yesterday and the Engine is in the car running right now.

Here is a little run down on what happened with all of this..

I made the initial phone call to Mike at TEA to explain the failure of parts.
He told me to pull them both and send them to him so they could analyze them.
I pulled and boxed up both Heads, and he had UPS send a call-tag to me, slapped it on the box and away they went
Once he got them he called me and told me what he thought, and I explained to him the Piston looked the same way.
After everything was examined on his end he told me that both Heads will be replaced, along with the Head Gaskets, Head Bolts, Piston, and Intake Rocker Arm.
Piston eventually arrived, Heads arrived a few weeks after with Bolts & Rocker. Heads were new Castings with New Valves and hardware.
Head Gaskets were delayed due to a communication mishap, ended up getting to him in Ohio instead of me here in Arkansas.
Head Gaskets were over-nited to me and arrived to me yesterday at 1030am so I could start building.

I give great props on the excellent customer service I got with this situation, every bit of damage was narrowed down to the spring failure and that was covered by the warranty that Mike at TEA backed very well.
