Ultimate 6.0 street head?
With 38 less cubic inches, you are not in danger of running out of air flow on your 6.0. Any gains from the bigger head would only come in the upper rpm ranges which you rarey see on a street driven truck.
This is going to sound weird, but I feel like its a different ball game with an auto than it is with a stick. with a stick you can be at 2500 RPM and mash it to impress people, with an auto the only thing your goign to impress people with is your mid-top end unless youre going from a stand still. No one will be impressed by 1/4 throttle acceleration, and anything more will get you a downshift, plopping you right where the 215 will most likely do we well if not better.
By that logic I feel like going with the 215 I am not really sacrificing anything down low (because I'll get a gain over stock anyway) while I make more power where it counts for my ET/MPH.

I suppose the only disclaimer I would put out there are these bits from your original post:
Best of luck!

Whether you get 205's, 210's or 215's, you should have a great foundation for your project.
Best of luck!
I know... I kind of talked myself into the bigger head even though it kind of goes against what I had originally posted. My biggest concern was a lack of bottom end while WOT, or the bigger head not matching the 205's power until 5k or even higher. After hearing that they woudl be about the same at 3500 and only widenign the gap after that I have a hard time not thinking a 215 is the right choice.
This is a daily driver... but it would be a lie if I said I wasn't doing this for the best 1/4 mile times possible with my mild set up.
Besides, the heads we are talking about in this forum would lay waste to a truck set up running that syle head in the RPM range I am looking to be in.
They may not flow as well, but the increased air velocity of the smaller ports make all the difference in the world.
I'm not trying to say you can't make good power with those heads, because thats simply not true, but they're better suited on larger cube motors spinning decent RPM's.
They work well on the L92 because that has a larger bore, and the 6 speed tranny keeps the RPM's higher between shifts.
