Anyone with cam experience tech in
big cams are not a budget way of going fast, you need every max effort part to make them work well, honest gear wise i would think more along the lines of a 4.30 ,4.56 but i dont know anything about your setup,honest op you really need to do alot of research and learn a few things, i have an ms4 and getting this car setup right was more than i wanted to get into ,but a ms4 with every other mod,killer heads and gears will make a pretty nasty ride , but for a street car i would look for something with more low,mid range. a big cam in a somewhat stock car will be such a dog
If you aren't willing to spend the money and make it work... Go with a smaller cam. Will the bigger cam work? Sure... But why put added stress on your valve train and have worse MPG and not as easy to tune and run the same?

the 228r is what i'll be going with in my car. I'm setup with 4.11's behind my m6 but i don't NEED a big cam the 228r should give me the kick in the pants i'm looking for with a nice decent lope that ive wanted for quite some time
