Patriot 8501 .660" Valve Spring Ruined multiple valve seals I installed new Patriot valve springs and seals last year. In taking the heads apart i found some valve seals where chewed up and went through the motor. Some others were moved up the valve stem. As far as i know i seated them all properly. IIRC the seals came in the patriot spring kit.
Has anyone had this problem? I wonder if it had anything to do with the diameter of the seals?
What seals do you guys order, i assume replacement GM seals? I have 317 heads.
