Default Texas Speed & Performance Turbo 408ci build

i wanted some feedback, ive ordered a bunch of stuff through TSP, this will be my first shortblock purchase, ive looked at VA Speed, TSP, LMR, LME, extreme HP, Vengance Racing, and a few others. TSP seemes to have the most reasonable price. Im planning on ordering the shortblock this week, anyone have any feedback on motors from TSP?

Ordering the 408, Callies C-star crank, diamond pistons, eagle rods, all ARP, doing a 9.5:1 build throwing an 80mm T6 on it with a set of either the edelbrock 245 heads or the AFR's as they are very close in price. Any feedback will be appreciated....

Did you end up going with TSP for the shortblock? I'm going to be ordering one in the next week or so.

You will be fine with TSP but I didn't know you could still get the Callies C-Series crank anymore?

Oops nevermind you meant Compstar not C-Series. You should be fine.

I went with TSP. I will have my 408 in a few weeks.

I called HKE a couple times, no response.
LME, very very expensive.

Jason and John were very helpful.
VA Speed was reasonable, but very backed up.

Sorry we are way too backed up as well still after my accident so we are just now trying to get the phones as much as we can and catch up. You will be good with TSP.
