Most miles on a home built stroker

What i want to know is how reliable have most home built strokers been? Im mainly leaning towards daily drivers 450whp+ .....Also what has gone wrong? If anything... I would expect with the knowledge out there that people can get near OE reliability.

Sorry, in close to 2 years I've only put about 7k miles on my 383. Not a "high" hp build (yet), at just under 400 rwhp. Part of the low mileage was killing the stock tranny about 4 months after the install, but it's mostly just because I ride my motorcycles whenever it's not raining rather than piling the miles on the T/A.

I easily put 10-12k HARD miles on mine last year. Race it every weekend

I saw a Corvette for sale with a 408 stroker a while ago with 40K miles on the build and still running like a champ at that time..I dont know where that Corvette is now though.
